Early Enough

As the sun sets on another beautiful day in the Midwest, I realized that the General election for the next President of this great country is still 15 months away !
This is my first blog with townhall.com, and like most people cannot believe how many worthless debates and TV appearances we have seen from all candidates. But last two Democratic debate(s) in Chicago and Los Angeles were just plain pandering to the left wing base of their party.
On the always popular LOGO channel (which I did not even know existed, until I was flipping my remote) showed how far Democrats will go, just so they  can lock up a core voting bloc.
You do have to give some of the panelist credit for asking some tough questions to the top tier of candidates. Melissa Ethridge asked Mrs. Clinton about the "No ask policy" of the military, the one that her husband implemented.
Instead of saying it is a bad policy or that she would change it some how, Mrs. Clinton actually blamed the Republicans? She mentioned that the Democratic's could not get it through the Senate. Last time I checked, the Democrats have both sides of Congress.
This goes to show the failed policies or agenda of the 2008 Democratic candidates. Their whole purpose is to put blame on President Bush and take zero responsibility for their own failed policies.
They stand for nothing and have no agenda to move this country forward, except for a  Socialistic health care system and making amends with all our foreign leaders.
Pandering to your hard left base (which they already have a good chance of keeping) is not going to go over very well in Middle America. When the 2008 election comes, whoever the Democratic candidate is, they are going to have a very hard  time to justify their left wing policies with Independents and security moms.
